Ruskin Park
Ruskin Reports – March 2011
As the light gets longer the park stays open that bit later allowing access through it again on the way home from work. The snowdrops and crocus are out and the daffodils won’t be far behind. The anticipation of spring hangs in the air.

Events and Other Meetings
Easter 22-25 April 2011
There will be no Salvation Army Easter service this year, as they are busy in other locations. A summer event is being looked at instead.
The Park Rangers helped organise and supported on the day the Easter Egg Hunt. Now that these roles are no longer available, we will only be able to hold this event with support from volunteers to help hide the eggs and support the children at the event. Contact us to volunteer!
Ruskin Park Community Garden – Dig Days Sunday 1-3 pm, fortnightly during the winter
The park Community Garden, to the right of the 1 o’clock club as you enter the park from Denmark Hill station junction gate, has dig days on fortnightly Sundays during the winter.
See www.ruskinparkcommunitygarden.org for details, information and dates. A winter review/spring update will be in the spring newsletter.
