Mental healthcare is changing; both in its delivery and in the demands of service users. SLaM is responding to those needs by thinking about the future layout, buildings and design of the Maudsley Hospital site.

We would like to invite you to be a part of this process.

10.30am - 3pm

Prospero House, 241 Borough High Street, London, SE1 1GA

The workshops are led by professional architects and designers and involve exciting interactive sessions, where you can feed your ideas and thoughts into a collaborative design process.

Everyone with an interest in Maudsley Hospital is invited to attend. More information about the events can be found at:

http://www.maudsleyredesign.co.uk

To confirm attendance  or to find out more, please contact us on 020 8691 6729 or email info@creativeprocess.org.uk

All your ideas, skills and experience will add to the process and ultimately help shape the future of the Hospital.

We are delighted to announce that Rupert Young will be opening proceedings at our first event.  Afflicted by mental health conditions himself such as severe depression, self-harm and addiction, Rupert set up The Mood Foundation (http://www.moodfoundation.com) with the aim of making treatment accessible to all by removing the barrier of affordability and eliminating discrimination such as meeting certain “thresholds” to access much-needed treatment.  Rupert will stay for the rest of the day to input his own experiences and thoughts into the process.

Members of the Trust board and management team will be attending as well so this is your chance to meet and influence.
