Pay the £2.40. It's a reasonable amount for a big shopping trip and my favourite supermarket is too important to me to change over a parking fee.

Offer to pay £1.20 to park, but no more.

Use a different supermarket. Why should I pay extra to park? Supermarkets offer similar goods anyway.

Write to your MP. We have a right to park for free when shopping.

Give up the car and shop by public transport or locally instead.
