Camberwell Area Plan

Southwark Council are bidding for money from TfL to regenerate and improve Camberwell's town centre, under an area plan similar in principle to the Elephant & Castle's.  Southwark Council planners have drawn up a draft map outlining Camberwell's town centre, as it would be understood by the Area Plan.

At the same time a Local Implementation Plan (LIP) is being developed to make Camberwell's transport system - including pedestrian movement - more sustainable.

Camberwell Renewal, with input from Living Streets and local councillors, has produced a Vision for Camberwell which it hopes the LIP and Area Plan will draw upon for ideas.
