MCSAS

MCSAS-HEARTS OF LOVE: (Multi-Cultural Support Aid Services) work with young vulnerable and disadvantaged people aged 10 to 24 years old. We use Music and Dance, Graffiti Arts on Canvas Show, Photography and Filming, Happy Rap and Poems, Roller -Skate and Skate-Board Competition, and Youth Magazine Projects as a tool to help them find creative ideas. We help youth to eradicate gang issues, gun and knife and violent crime. Our projects allow youth to share skills, promote self-confidence, build positive mental strength to become responsible adult and be good citizen.

School Admissions

We are trying to help take the stress out of the school application process and provide parents/carers with help and advice on the school admissions process,  giving them tips on finding the right school for their child and how to apply, as well as online access to the primary and secondary school brochures (also available as a hard copy). As part of the drive to make the process even easier, quicker and more flexible, the council is encouraging people to apply online. One of the benefits of doing so is that parents can change details on the application right up to the closing date. The council website also offers top tips and a detailed question and answer page. Secondary school application deadline is 31 October 2010 and primary school application deadline is 15 January 2011.
